AIR CONDITIONING SOLUTIONS

Split & Multi-Split Systems

Split and multi-split air conditioning systems are a practical, flexible solution for smaller commercial spaces or buildings that need independent temperature control in specific areas.

A split system connects one indoor unit to one outdoor unit, while a multi-split system allows several indoor units to run from a single outdoor unit. This makes them ideal for offices, retail units, meeting rooms and smaller multi-room environments where simplicity, control and efficient use of space are important.

They provide reliable heating and cooling, straightforward installation and a cost-effective option for buildings that do not require a larger centralised system.

How do split air conditioning systems work?

A split air conditioning system transfers heat from inside to outside. The indoor unit absorbs heat from the air and passes it to a refrigerant, which carries it to the outdoor unit where it is released. The system then recirculates cooled air back into the space to maintain a consistent temperature.

Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) Systems

VRF air conditioning systems are designed for larger or more complex commercial buildings where multiple rooms or zones need precise, responsive temperature control. These systems can serve many indoor units from a single network, making them well suited to offices, hotels, healthcare settings and other multi-zone environments.

One of the main advantages of VRF is its ability to adjust output in line with demand, helping to improve comfort while reducing unnecessary energy use. For buildings with varying occupancy, different solar gains or a mix of heating and cooling requirements, VRF offers a highly adaptable and space-efficient solution.

What are the benefits of VRF systems?

VRF systems offer flexible, zoned control with the ability to heat and cool different areas simultaneously. They are well-suited to buildings with varying occupancy and can maintain consistent comfort while optimising energy use across multiple zones.

Close Control Air Conditioning Systems

Close control air conditioning systems are used in environments where precise temperature and humidity control is essential to protect sensitive equipment and maintain stable operating conditions. Unlike comfort cooling systems, they are designed to deliver continuous, accurate environmental control in critical spaces such as server rooms, data centres, laboratories and other technical facilities.

These systems help manage constant heat loads, reduce the risk of overheating and support the reliable operation of equipment that cannot tolerate wide fluctuations in conditions.

What is a close control system?

A close control system is a precision air conditioning solution designed to maintain tightly controlled temperature and humidity levels. It is built for environments where stability is critical, rather than general comfort cooling.
