Gas Main Installation for a Packaging Company in Wigan

The installation project involved the deployment of a new elevated-pressure gas main, extending from the existing incoming supply housing to a newly constructed steam boiler plant room within the facility. To optimise the client’s flexibility for potential future site developments, the gas main was strategically routed underground along the property boundary. This configuration resulted in the installation of over 500 meters of new pipeline infrastructure, engineered to deliver 14,000 kW of energy to support the operational demands of the new plant.

The integration of the new gas pipeline with the existing utility services was executed in close coordination with the client’s project management team. The connection process was meticulously planned and implemented to ensure minimal disruption and downtime to the existing boiler plant operations.
